For Start-Ups

Our “3 e” system takes your management team through a series of well-constructed exercises to think about the future you want to create. Using a combination of lectures, small team workshops, and full scale group analysis, together we create a vision of your organization's future. We identify all the potential groups of customers, and determine the optimal target groups.

Together, we develop a full line of products and services to offer in the future, and decide where and then how to offer them. Importantly, we identify who in the organization will manage the appropriate action steps, and a delivery timetable.

There are three phases:

EXPLORE
Encompassing two stages over a period of one month, we work together to analyze all potential opportunities and create a vision for the future. The first phase, “Forethought”, involves analysis of the internal and external company and industry factors that will affect the business. The second phase, “Imagination”, involves a 3 day off-site work session where the team creates the future Success Plan.

EXECUTE
Over the next month, we will define customer needs, set goals and tactics to achieve the Success Plan, and then identify the critical changes needed to be made…and who will make them. A two day session, “Tactics” and “Changes” will take place off-site.

EVALUATE
During the “Follow-Thru” phase we schedule formal quarterly reviews for a period of 12 months. As we learn what works and what doesn't in our Success Plan, we make "course corrections" to ensure that we are always on-track to succeed. Finally, during the “Evolution” phase, we review what we have created, and determine what changes still need to be made.

During Imagination, Tactics, and Changes, we climb the eight steps in the “Ladder of Performance”. These eight steps take us sequentially through the various thinking processes necessary to create the Success Plan.
